Terms of Service
This English translation is provided for convenience. If there is any conflict, the Korean version prevails.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Intellius (the "Company") and members regarding the use of MBB Career (mbbcareer.com, the "Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the AI-powered interview practice and assessment software provided by the Company (case interviews, case-start drills, IBD/PE/VC interviews, resume review, and all related features).
- "Member" means a person who agrees to these Terms and creates an account.
- "Access pass" means a paid entitlement to use the Service (per product or all-access).
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
(1) The Company posts these Terms within the Service.
(2) The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law. Amendments are announced in the Service at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable or material to members), with re-consent collected where required.
(3) A member who does not agree to amended Terms may terminate their account.
Article 4 (Sign-up and Accounts)
(1) Sign-up is done through social account authentication (Google, Kakao, Naver, etc.); your verified email address identifies your account. The same email maps to the same account regardless of the login method used.
(2) Persons under 14 years of age may not sign up.
(3) Accounts are personal and may not be transferred, lent, or shared. The Company may limit the number of concurrently connected devices.
(4) Use of the Service may be restricted if you impersonate another person or register with false information.
Article 5 (Service)
The Company provides AI-driven mock interviews, scoring and feedback on your answers, and access to your session history (transcripts and scorecards). The Service is a practice and learning aid for interview preparation; specific features and quantities (e.g., free trial limits) follow what is displayed in the Service and at checkout.
Article 6 (Paid Access and Payment)
(1) Paid access is a one-time purchase per product; there is no auto-renewal or recurring billing.
(2) Validity periods and quantities are displayed at checkout. Current paid products run for 4 weeks from payment approval. Both standalone Resume Review and Resume Review within All-Access include 50 reports and 5 deep-dive interviews.
(3) Payments are processed by contracted payment gateways (PG); the Company does not store raw payment credentials such as card numbers.
Article 7 (Withdrawal and Refunds)
(1) Members may withdraw purchases in accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other applicable laws. For digital content, withdrawal may be limited to the extent permitted by law once provision of the content has begun; this is disclosed before payment.
(2) Company standard refund policy: a full refund may be requested within 7 days of payment approval when paid usage for that purchase is zero.
(3) Satisfaction guarantee: for the platform's first paid purchase only, exactly one paid use within 7 days qualifies for a 50% refund. The guarantee is available once per member account for life and may not apply again where the same person uses multiple accounts for repeated claims.
(4) After two or more paid uses, or after 7 days, the company standard and satisfaction-guarantee criteria do not apply; members may still request review under applicable statutory withdrawal, termination, and refund rules. If the statutory amount is greater, the greater amount applies.
(5) Usage means successfully delivered paid content: each Consulting full case and Drill counts separately; one IBD/PE/VC interview counts once; each Resume Review report and started interview count separately; one successful IR Review counts once; All-Access combines all included product usage. Free, promotional, voided, and failed-generation sessions are excluded.
(6) Duplicate requests for the same order are restricted while processing. A refund on another order within the previous 30 days may route a new request to administrator review. This does not limit statutory rights. Detailed procedures follow the Billing / Refunds page.
Article 8 (Member Obligations)
Members must not:
- share, transfer, or lend accounts, or impersonate others;
- copy, distribute, sell, transmit, or create derivative works from Service content (cases, questions, materials, scoring criteria and results) without authorization;
- collect content or impose load on the Service via crawling, scraping, or other automated means;
- reverse engineer the Service, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with normal operation;
- misrepresent AI output (scores, feedback) as an official assessment by any company, or resell it commercially.
Article 9 (Intellectual Property)
(1) Copyright and intellectual property in the Service and its content (case packs, questions, assessment frameworks, UI, etc.) belong to the Company or its rightful licensors. Members receive only a personal, non-commercial license to use them.
(2) Rights to content you enter or upload (answers, resumes, etc.) remain yours; the Company processes it only to the extent needed to provide the Service (running interviews, scoring and feedback, history access).
Article 10 (AI Output Notice and Disclaimer)
(1) Questions, assessments, scores, and feedback in the Service are generated by artificial intelligence. The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI output; it is provided for learning reference only.
(2) The Service does not guarantee actual interview outcomes, employment, or offers.
(3) Company names and trademarks mentioned in the Service (consulting firms, financial institutions, etc.) belong to their respective owners. The Company is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those companies, and the Service's assessment criteria are not their official scoring criteria.
Article 11 (Changes to or Suspension of the Service)
The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. For changes materially affecting paid access, the Company provides advance notice and takes measures required by law, including refunds.
Article 12 (Limitation of Liability)
(1) The Company is not liable for interruptions or damages caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, and failures of third-party services (hosting, AI model providers, payment gateways, social login providers).
(2) The Company is not liable for a member's failure to achieve expected outcomes (such as passing interviews).
(3) To the maximum extent permitted by law, and absent willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, and its aggregate liability is limited to the fees actually paid by the member.
Article 13 (Termination and Restriction)
(1) Members may request account deletion (termination) at any time via customer support or the Settings page.
(2) If a member violates these Terms, the Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement after prior notice (or subsequent notice in urgent cases).
Article 14 (Governing Law and Disputes)
(1) These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
(2) The Company and members shall attempt to resolve disputes in good faith; failing that, disputes may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. Consumers may also apply for mediation with the Consumer Dispute Mediation Committee.
Addendum: These Terms take effect on 2026-07-28.
