Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Intellius (the "Company") processes personal information of MBB Career (mbbcareer.com, the "Service") users lawfully and securely in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and other applicable laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is used, stored, and destroyed.

Children under 14 may not sign up, and the Company does not collect personal information from children under 14.

2. Information We Collect and How

• Sign-up (social login): email address, name/profile information (as provided by the login provider), login provider account identifier
• Using the Service: interview session records (conversation, answers, scoring results and scorecards), resume files you upload for Resume Review, customer support inquiries
• Payment: order and payment history (product, amount, payment method type, date). Raw payment credentials such as card numbers are collected and processed directly by the payment gateway (PG) and are not stored by the Company.
• Automatically collected: access logs (IP address, access time) and cookies essential to the Service (login session, language and theme preferences)

3. Purposes of Processing

• Member identification, authentication, and account management
• Providing the Service: running interviews, generating AI scoring and feedback, history access
• Managing paid access, payments, and refunds
• Responding to inquiries and delivering service notices
• Preventing abuse (account sharing, misuse) and keeping the Service stable
• (Only with separate opt-in consent) sending marketing emails

4. Marketing Emails (Optional)

Only if you separately opt in, MBB Career sends emails about new features, product launches, events, discounts, and other benefits.

• Data used: email address
• Retention: until you withdraw consent or delete your account
• We never sell or share your email address with third parties; it is used only for emails sent by MBB Career for the purposes above.
• Declining does not limit your use of the Service in any way.
• Withdraw anytime: Settings > Email preferences, the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email, or customer support

5. Retention Periods

Personal information is destroyed without delay once its purpose is fulfilled. When you delete your account, we delete your account information and usage records, except for the following retained under Korean law:

Original resume files uploaded for Resume Review are automatically deleted within 30 days of upload (the review report itself is kept as part of your usage history).

6. Provision to Third Parties

The Company does not sell or provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law or lawfully requested by investigative authorities.

7. Outsourcing and Cross-Border Transfers

To operate the Service, the Company entrusts processing as follows; some processors are located overseas. Only the minimum necessary information is transferred, retained for the duration of the outsourcing contract or the periods above.

These transfers are essential to providing the Service; if you do not wish your data to be transferred, you may choose not to sign up.

8. Destruction

Personal information past its retention period or purpose is destroyed without delay - electronic files are deleted irrecoverably, and physical records are shredded or incinerated.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time - directly in the Settings page, or via customer support (in-app 1:1 inquiry or the email below). Account deletion can be requested the same way.

10. Security Measures

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and database access control
• Least-privilege access to personal information (separated admin privileges, access logging)
• Minimal collection; prompt destruction of data no longer needed

11. Cookies

The Service uses only cookies essential to providing it (login session, language and theme preferences). No advertising or behavioral tracking cookies are used. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features such as login will not work.

13. Notice of Changes

Changes to this policy are announced in the Service at least 7 days before taking effect (30 days for changes material to your rights), with re-consent collected where required.
